Taster Sessions

If you are thinking of taking up the sport of archery, a Taster Session is the ideal way to start! You will come along to the club where you will meet and talk to some of our experienced archers who will show you around and tell you about the facilities available.

Following a safety briefing you will be able to try shooting a bow (under strict supervision from your instructor)! Don’t worry, all of the necessary equipment will be provided as we have a wide range of different bows in various weights and sizes. We also have lots of different length arrows to suit you!

When you have finished shooting, and if you have enjoyed it, we will tell you all about the Beginner’s Course that you will need to complete prior to being able to join the club.

Taster sessions are normally held for one or two people at a time and you will be instructed on a one to one basis. The session will last for approximately one hour and the cost will be £20.00 per person, payable on the day.

Have a Go sessions

Are designed for groups of people to try out the sport of archery. We provide these sessions for companies, local clubs, societies, the armed forces and for private parties to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries etc.

Details are much the same as for a Taster Session with free Tea, Coffee or Soft Drinks available, a safety briefing prior to starting and then one on one instruction for those people taking part. The session will last for approximately 2 hours and all necessary equipment will be provided.

Have a Go sessions are limited to a maximum of 16 participants and the cost is £10.00 per person with a minimum charge of £100.00 for the session payable on the day.
